Parkland Country Club Wedding Review

South Florida wedding photographer gets a Five Star Review for a Parkland Country Club wedding.

Several months ago I got to photograph a really beautiful wedding at Parkland Country Club here in South Florida. Often when engaged couples think about planning their South Florida Wedding they think of getting married at one of our awesome beach communities such as, Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Miami Beach, Delray Beach or South Beach. While having a South Florida Beach Wedding is perfect for some brides and grooms, others are not so keen on having the sand on their feet or wind blowing their hair.

For those brides and grooms planning their wedding South Florida has many other options. Aside from Florida beaches, South Florida has a huge selection of golf, and country clubs as well. Deciding on a Country Club as your wedding venue offers many benefits that having a beach wedding doesn't offer.

First, my having your wedding more inland you cut down on the wind factor, If your a bride with long hair chances are by choosing a country club, you won't have to worry about your hair blowing all over the place during your wedding ceremony or during the wedding photography. Blowing hair can slow down the wedding photography process and also require the bride to need a hair touch up before the start of the ceremony.

Some of the more popular Country Clubs in South Florida are, Boca Raton Resort and Club, Addison Reserve Country Club, Woodfield Country Club, St. Andrews Country Club, The Polo Club of Boca Raton, Stonebridge Country Club, Boca Raton, Gleneagles Country Club, All these Country Clubs are very nice and I have photographed wedding at all these wedding venues. If you have questions about any of these wonderful wedding venues feel free to call me at (561) 737-5561

Ananda and Zac decided to tie the knot at Parkland Country Club which is one of my favorite places for many reasons. First, the photographic opportunities are endless. When you drive up the main entrance you are greeted with a beautiful cobblestone drive that leads up the beautiful brick buildings and old style walls enhanced by many waterfalls and flowing fountains.

Wedding Photography and Video was very important to Amanda and Zac or they hired the best wedding photographer, "Thank you very much". I'm thrilled that they picked me to photography their special day.

Wedding photography starts long before the wedding day with special planning and decision making. I worked with Amanda and her wedding planner to create to perfect wedding timeline that would give Amanda enough time for her make-up artist to do their work yet not be rushed. This way Amanda and her bridal party could enjoy the process.

Having shot hundreds of South Florida Weddings, I know that the time a bride spends with her mother and her bridesmaids preparing for the wedding is a special time for bonding and enjoying her girls, while she spends her last few hours as a single girl.

I started taking pictures while Amanda was getting ready. Amanda also purchased these beautiful robes which had custom engraving into the robe. I also spent some time photographing the groom Zac getting ready as well. During the getting ready time the bride and groom shared cards with special notes. It was very emotional photographing then as they each read their cards.

Once they were ready Amanda and Zac shared their First Look. Most brides and grooms today do what is known as first look where they get to see each other in a private setting. Seeing each other before the ceremony gives the bride and groom the opportunity to see each other with out feeling that everyone is watching and interfering. This is perfect for both because the groom is free to share his feelings and emotions with his bride without anyone watching.

After the First look we got on golf carts and drove off the some of my favorite places to bride and groom photos. Parkland Country has a beautiful pond which is surrounded by waterfalls and fountains which is perfect for wedding pictures. Every photographer who works at Parkland Country Club shoots in this location. I also shot Amanda and Zac around the pond. However, shooting pictures in the same place where hundreds of other photographers have shot wedding pictures is not enough. After we finished shooting around the pond, I told Ananda and Zac to some other places inside Parkland Country Club. We did photos in places that are not often used for wedding photography. Please off the beaten path. It's in these places that I created some of my favorite images.

When we arrived back at the main clubhouse, the bride and groom's family and the wedding party were ready and waiting to start the posed family pictures. Watching the clock we got all the family and bridal party pictures done with plenty of time for Amanda to freshen up before the ceremony.

The wedding ceremony started on time and was one of the most beautiful ceremonies ever. After the ceremony we spend some more time photographing family and still left plenty of time for Amanda and Zac to enjoy their cocktail hour. Reception was a beautiful event filled with Fun, excitement, great speeches and Amanda who is a dancer performed a special dance for Zac. It was really a special evening.
