I'm as big fan of engagement photography for many reasons. When a bride and groom or meet with a photographer it is usually a sure bet that they will see some very nice pictures. In addition I would expect that every wedding photographer has nice looking website images. The big question is how do you know your wedding pictures will look like the photographers samples? By doing an engagement photo shoot this question is answered. During an engagement photo shoot a photographer can't fake it. Either your photographer can pose and direct couples or they cannot. at an engagement photo shoot couples can learn if their photographer understands lighting and create beautiful images on command. Even a quick 15 minute photo shoot with me as your photographer will demonstrate that I can pose, and direct couples for the best results.
