One of the best wedding venues in Miami Beach is the Fontainebleau hotel and for many reasons. First and foremost the hotel is huge and has all kinds of beautiful locations to make great photos. The lobby is Art Deco but also has other modern looking hallways with lots of really cool decor on the ceiling and walls. This photo of Lisa, (The Bride) was taken in a walkway that went from the main lobby to another building across the venue. Since the hallway was along a glass window, the path received this beautiful soft light which was perfect for taking beautiful wedding photos. While the path led from one building to another we did have to deal with some people walking past during this portrait session. Everyone who walked past was very nice and everyone commented on what a beautiful bride Lisa was.
If you are engaged and in the wedding planning process then I would suggest you certainly consider the Fontainebleau for your wedding. While there are lots and lots of great hotels in Miami Beach, I'm not sure any of them have the history or the beauty of the Fontainebleau. In my many years shooting weddings in South Florida working at this hotel is always a treat.
