I had no idea what I was informing when the bride hired me to photograph her wedding. The bride was soft spoken, very sweet and came in with her deposit. Really that was about it. Then after about six months I received a call from someone who said they were the production manager for the wedding. Production manager? I have worked with lots of wedding planners, event planners, wedding coordinators, but never a production manager. This sounded interesting so I couldn't wait to meet with the production manager and the team. When I arrived at the Miami Turnberry Resort and Spa I was inspired by the dedicated team of event professional involved in this wedding. As it turns out the Brides father is a huge fixture in the high-end production of theater and plays. There were blueprints and lots of talk about the fire codes that needed to be addressed. I remember when the hotel manager asked the firework guy sitting in the meeting if there would be debris falling from the sky. The guy said, You bet there will be debris, it's all going up, and it's all going to come back down. I just thought to myself, this is going to be great!
This wedding picture was taken at one of my favorite South Florida weddings. It's a wedding that I will always remember. It is also a wedding that leaves me very sad. I'll get to that later.
Everything about this wedding was fantastic, the bride was beautiful, the groom handsome. The brides gown was gorgeous and the flowers amazing. In addition to the flowers being beautiful, this wedding featured special lighting and decorative elements that made for a stunning evening. The wedding pictures went perfectly, everything happened on time like clockwork. I knew the fireworks were coming at the end of the ceremony. What I did not expect was the fireworks to go on and on and on after the bride and groom kissed. It's funny how you remember things that are said at certain given moments. During the meeting the brides father said, I wasn't sure she was really my daughter when she asked me if she could have sparklers at her ceremony. He was implying that given who he is sparklers are way to simple for his taste. It was a fantastic Firework display at a South Florida wedding.

Beautiful bridal photo taken at a South Florida Wedding. I shot this photo at night in one of the walkways that runs next to the resort swimming pool.
Given the size of the resort combined with the huge golf course and all the open space I must say Turnberry resort and spa is the perfect place for fireworks at your South Florida Wedding. Keep in mind that rules and regulations change from time to time so talk with the venues event planner before planning your wedding firework show.
