Lindsay and Seth’s Boca Raton Wedding at Broken Sound Country Club

Sharing is caring!

Lindsay and Seth have a great story that we hope you will enjoy! We recently photographed this fabulous couple’s wedding at one of South Florida’s most beautiful country clubs – Broken Sound Country Club in Boca Raton. They were a pleasure to work with and I was honored to be a part of their special day.

Lindsay and her Girls!  Broken Sound Country Club has many beautiful places for photography.  This pathway, really for golf carts, served as the perfect location for this photo.
Seth with each of his groomsmen.  I always shoot two different photos of the groom and each guy,  The first photo is the standard posed shot and the second is the “Do whatever you want shot”
As a new twist on the “First LooK” I decided that it would be fun to have Seth’s daughter cover his eyes before he got the see his future bride.

Being based in Southern Florida, I enjoy photographing weddings in all different types of locations. As far as country clubs go, Broken Sound Country Club is one of the nicest in the area. It’s lush grounds and unique fountains make it a perfect place for a wedding that will wow your guests. It provides an incredible background for photos as you will see here.

There’s no shortage of shooting locations.  Whenever I’m here I find new places to take pictures!

Seth grew up in Montreal, where an outside wedding in February was just not an option. They knew they wanted to take advantage of the paradise they live in year round and immerse their guests in an outside Florida winter wedding. Their save the date gave their guests their first taste with a clear blue sky and palm tree background. They toured Broken Sound Club; their grounds checked off everything on their wish list. Lindsay and Seth exchanged their vows on the edge of a beautiful golf course, surrounded by their loved ones… and palm trees, of course.

Seth’s daughter is not camera shy.  She was very happy to pose for this photo of Seth kissing Lindsay.

They got engaged in Alaska. The combination of this location and the bride’s maiden name, Goldberg, sparked the perfect wedding hashtag – #SethStruckGold. This nugget was created by the bride’s matron of honor.

The flowers created by www.KishEvents.com were just beautiful!  Since this was a Jewish ceremony, the bride and groom got married under a chuppah.
More beautiful decor!
The wedding ceremony was beautiful. Lindsay walked down the aisle at sundown and it was nightfall by the breaking of the glass.

It started with a swipe. Like many other couples, Lindsay and Seth met online – on the Jewish dating app, JSwipe in March of 2016. Their love story didn’t start out as a fairy tale though. Early dates included a hockey game where Seth thought Lindsay talked too much and Lindsay couldn’t tell if Seth was interested in anything more than friendship. After three dates, Lindsay wasn’t sure this was the right man for her and they went their separate ways. A week later, she realized she hadn’t stopped thinking about Seth. She took a chance and sent him a text. She lucked out and he asked her out again. They became inseparable after that and their break become an inside joke that came with its own hashtag – #BBE (Best Blip Ever). The rest is happily-ever-after history. They moved in together the summer of 2017, bought a house spring of 2018, got engaged in Alaska the summer of 2018, and married February 16, 2019.

Seth met Lindsay halfway down the aisle.
Rose did a great job with the ballroom decor as well.
Right after the grand entrance, the bride and groom started their “First Dance.”
The wedding cake came from Publix.
I love it when the couple includes signature drinks.  It’s always fun to photograph special drink selections.

SPECIAL NOTE:

Broken Sound Country Club is going through a total re-model of the main Clubhouse and some of the other grounds.  This is a bummer because they may not hold wedding and events for a while.   I will keep this article updated as time goes on.  I’m looking forward to shooting future weddings at this fantastic Boca Raton venue.
