The above photo was taken at a charity event in Palm Beach. The event included a performance by Kool & the Gang. What a treat! Before Kool and the Gang took to the stage there as an auction and a lovely plated dinner served to the guests. We were hired to cover the event using both photography and video as well. In addition to providing the photo and video we also photographed each guest or couple in front of a beautiful photo wall. During the dinner, auction and performance we printed a 4x6 photo of each guest. The finished printed photos were inserted into fine cardboard frames with the charity information printed in gold foil on the cover. When the event ended each attendee went home with a beautiful token of the event.

My photography career started when I was only a freshman in college. As a young photographer I attended Adelphi university in Garden City Long Island. My major was communications which included learning film production, video production, sound production and of course photography. By my senior year I was working as a photographer and a motion picture film repair person. Because I love both photography and film production so much, I decided to move to Los Angeles the second I graduated from college. It was in Hollywood California where I really cut my teeth in the photography and film business.

I have been formally trained in event photography as well as wedding photography and many other photographic disciplines. For example, I shot arson photography for the Los Angels Fire Department. Working for the fire department required me to photograph crime scenes which meant shooting extreme close-ups of evidence, wide angle establishing shots and using special lighting which enhanced hard to see details such as text, shapes, and color differences. Over my career I have also photographed well over 1000 weddings. Obviously someone who hires a wedding photographer demands dependability and an artistic eye.
