I shot this unique wedding ring photo during a wedding reception at Stonebridge Country Club in Boca Raton Florida. Whenever I look at other South Florida Wedding Photographers work I can't help but notice all the run of the mill boring wedding ring photos. As a Florida Creative Photographer, I'm always looking to produce unique photos that are interesting and different.
While some of the creative wedding photos I produce don't appeal to everyone, some people hire me because they want pictures that look different. Whenever, I'm shooting photos that I consider more creative I also make sure to take more basic photos as well. Not every bride wants a picture of her wedding rings so close to the fire.
This wedding photo was actually taken in 2 different parts, the marshmallows on fire was one shot and the ring was another shot. Both photos were taken at the same angle and with the same lens then stripped together in photoshop later. So no rings were damaged in the making of this shot.
This photo was taken during the end of the wedding, normally I shoot my ring shots at the reception when I have more time to work on creative photos.
As a Florida wedding photographer, I believe that there are several different parts to wedding photography and that a wedding should incorporate several different styles of photography. Some of these styles are: Standard Traditional Portraits, Wedding Photo-journalism, Candid Wedding Photo, Fine Portraiture, Casual Photography, and fun wedding photos. Just inside the guard gets is a picturesque lake with a stone bridge. This is a great place to photograph the bride and groom.
