I know that this is a photo that was taken a long time ago. However, it's one of my favorites because it was so much fun. The couple in this photos wanted to take their engagement pictures in Boca Raton at a location that included a park and a beach close by so that they could get both casual park photos and beach photos. Having provided a ton of Boca Raton Photography in the past, I knew the perfect two locations.
This photo was taken at a park next to the back entrance of The Boca Raton Resort and Club. The park actually serves as place where boaters can use a ramp to put their boats into the intercostal waterway. This park has some very nice trees and a grass lawn that is perfect to those laying in the grass photos. Since this park is located along the intercostal waterway, I was able to get some photos with water in the background as well.
Here is a link to where this park is located. Silver Palm Park. What is nice about this park is the fact that it's another alternative to shooting at the beach, and if you want to take additional photos at a beach, the beach is only a short drive away.
Often at an engagement photoshoot the bride and groom will bring along some props, This is always great the these props not only provide a message, they also play into the playful nature of the couple. Since I have a variety of posing options tucked away in my head, I thought I would have some fun by doing some interesting poses. I'm thrilled that their furry little friend was happy to cooperate.
Whenever, a recently engaged couple reaches out to me looking for a wedding photographer I always ask if they are interested in doing an engagement photo shoot. By doing an engagement shoot you get to learn more about your photographer then you ever would sitting in a sales meeting.
Most of the couples I have photographed have never posed before, have no idea how to stand for photos and just feel awkward in front of the camera. Once your photographer actually poses you, or shows you how to stand in a way the is easy to understand a newley engaged couple will feel more confident about the photographer they hired.
