The perfect South Florida weather was a blessing for this beautiful Woodfield County Club Jewish Wedding. Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is a wedding photographers wonderland and an awesome place for a destination wedding.
After the Bride and Groom's first look we had plenty of time to wander around taking posed pictures in several different Woodfield locations. Woodfield Country Club has some of the most beautiful scenery in South Florida. If you are planning a Woodfield Country Club wedding you are in for a real treat. Not only are the grounds fantastic but the club house is also beautiful. Modern furniture with upscale finishes inside and lovely scenery outside make Woodfield Country Club a wedding photographers dream location.
During our portrait shoot the groom, a talented guitar player, mentioned that he had his beautiful custom guitar with him. He mentioned that he would Love some photos with his prized musical instrument. Props are always a huge plus when photographing people. People alway look good when they are doing something with their hands, the groom playing to his bride was a great opportunity to get some additional posed wedding photographs. When shooting this posed action shot I decided that the couple should be placed in the open space under the tree. when photographing people at a wedding I really try have a solid background or out of focus background behind the bride and grooms heads. In order to get the correct angle I had to lay flat on the ground and get the lens as close to the ground as possible. Whenever shooting from a low angle I have also found that it's important for the couple to lean into the photographer on the ground so that the camera angle is not up their nose.
I shot this with a Canon 5D Mark 4 and a Canon 24-105 F2.8 Type-L lens. F 5.6 at 1/160th with the iso set to 100 was the perfect setting for this great shot.
