Being a South Florida Photographer certainly comes with some perks! This special event photo was taken at a Charity event held at The Breakers, Palm Beach. This charity event featured the band, Kool & The Gang. As a photographer in South Florida I get to cover all kinds of functions. I'm experienced in photographing all kinds of Special Events including Charity Event, Corporate Events, Trade Shows, and conventions. The exciting part of being photographer in South Florida is that I get to produce all kinds of photography. Often at an event I find myself shooting everything from action shots to headshots, to speaker and award presentations.
If you are planning on having a special event function here in South Florida you will find that you have a huge amount of event venues to choose from. Over the years I have shot events in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Dade County and Palm Beach. I have even traveled to Orlando and Naples Florida.
The photo pictured here was part of an event that required me to cover the event including all the guest arrivals. When the each guest arrived, I photographed each couple or person against the charities background which had the company logo, This is known step and repeat photoshoot. After each guest was photographed my staff began printing 5x7 photographs that each guest got to go home with a beautiful photograph.
In addition to handling the step and repeat photography we also photographed all the ballroom decor and the small little gift items. Once attendees were seated this charity event had many speakers. We photographed each speaker, before Kool & The gang took to the stage.
In addition to the event photography we also provided the video coverage as well. It's great when the video team and the event photography team work together on a special event. Working as a team your videographer and photographer are mindful if each others camera angles and by communicating in advance they cam formulate a game plan as to how the coverage is handled.
