Eggs Benedict served on the Disney Cruise Line.

One thing if for sure.  Disney Cruise line sure knows how to make brunch.  This photo was taken while having a delicious brunch aboard the Disney Fantasy.  For those that are not familiar with Disney cruise ships, the upscale pay restaurant on the Fantasy is Palo.  If you are interested on having brunch at Palo I suggest you book your brunch as soon as the cruise line allows because it fills up fast and if you are too late in booking you will miss one of the best brunches on the high seas.  This brunch is something that is not to be missed.  The brunch includes a huge range of choices including several kinds of Benedicts and shrimp prepared many different ways.  Basically every breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner food is available at the Palo brunch.  I'm taking many different kinds of Pizzas, Steak, Caviar it's a total food fest of delicious food.   I actually prefer the brunch over the dinner.  With the Brunch you have more choices and you are not arriving still stuffed from lunch and snacks.

Ok now about the photo.  I shot this tasty concoction of bread, ham and egg smothered with hollandaise sauce with the Fuji X100s  The X100s was perfect for this dining experience.  The camera is small focuses close and is awesome in low light.  I placed the yummy dish next to a window with soft sunlight.  Food always looks best when the light rolls over the surface of the food.  It's the highlights and shadows rolling over the food that activates the part of the brain that makes you crave something tasty.  As usual I shot camera raw. One pain in the butt with the X100s is the macro focus.  In order to focus close you have to go into the menu and select macro. It takes more time but it's time well spent. The macro setting on the X100s is super sharp and I just love it!  Normally I'm in South Florida shooting a bride and groom at a wedding but this was a tasty photoshoot not to be missed.
