This wedding took place about 8 years ago in Marco Island. \u00a0 If you are planning an elopement or wedding in Marco Island, give me a call. \u00a0There are so many nice things about Marco Island elopements and weddings that I love. \u00a0The calm water, the sand that is fine like powder. \u00a0The sun setting to the west makes for the most beautiful sunsets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What a magnificent location for a destination wedding! Candace and Joe live in Chicago, so they knew that having a wedding in a tropical paradise such as Marco Island, Florida would be something not only they would enjoy, but also all of their guests, most of whom were traveling in from other parts of the country. Just as the weather started to get colder in Chicago, Candace and Joe\u2019s Marco Island Marriott wedding afforded their friends and family a welcomed break and the incredible chance to enjoy one of the most pristine beaches in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I see a cool setting like this lounge, I must take pictures. The curve of the wood ceiling created the perfect setting for romantic bride and groom pictures. As a wedding and elopement photographer, I find Marco Island one of Florida’s most beautiful beach locations.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As a creative wedding and elopement photographer, I always try to take the most unusual pictures possible. Even though this wedding happened many years ago, I still do my best to create images that are unique. At the time of this wedding, I was really into this black and white or sepia with color elements imagery. I don’t do this as much, because it has become less popular. I still do this, just not as much. However, if you are planning an elopement or wedding in Marco Island, and you love this look, let me know.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

With eyes like this, how could I not take this wedding picture?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Infrared
Infrared wedding photography is another wedding \/ elopement technique that I use to get unique images. Of course I would never shoot too many Infrared<\/a> wedding pictures. Just enough. \u00a0I see these types of alternative photography processes like adding salt and pepper to a meal. \u00a0Some salt and pepper will spice up your meal. \u00a0However, if you add too much, your meal will be ruined.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

ABOVE AND BELOW – Both of the pictures above and below were taken with a camera modified for infrared photography. \u00a0 I love shooting infrared at both elopements and weddings in Marco Island because it opens the doors of creativity. \u00a0In addition, not every photographer is capable of shooting infrared. \u00a0First you need a modified camera dedicated to only for infrared. \u00a0Here are some links to more of my infrared pictures. \u00a0Infrared wedding picture taken at Broken Sound Country Club.<\/a> This picture was taken at one of my favorite Boca Raton wedding locations. \u00a0Elopement Infrared wedding photo<\/a> As a Florida photographer, I shoot a wide range of elopements. \u00a0This infrared elopement picture was taken in the Bahamas. \u00a0By now I’m sure you have figured out that I travel everyplace for a wedding or elopement. \u00a0This couple called me at 2:00PM on Friday for their Saturday wedding. \u00a0By 5:00PM I was on a plane and ready for the wedding the next day. \u00a0This picture was taken in Miami at a Jewish Orthodox wedding. \u00a0Infrared imagery has a unique way of making greenery look beautiful. \u00a0Bride at her Jewish Orthodox wedding. <\/a>\u00a0 Ok one more, \u00a0Infrared romantic bride and groom elopement picture.<\/a>\u00a0 This picture was taken at a resort close to the east coast of South Florida. \u00a0If you look through my website you will find a wide range of infrared pictures.<\/p>\n

During a wedding or elopement, I always spend time taking as many pictures and family pictures as possible.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\"Ceremony
Between the sun setting over the water, and the fine powder-like sand, a wedding or elopement ceremony in Marco Island is the perfect perfect for any couple. It’s also a fantastic photo opportunity for any photographer to capture breathtaking pictures!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Candace and Joe\u2019s ceremony was beachside just before sunset. It was beautifully set up right on the sand, though the Marco Island Marriott has several lovely outdoor locations where wedding ceremonies may be conducted. The cocktail hour was held outdoors on the patio in front of the entrance to the ballrooms. I spent some time after the ceremony photographing Candace and Joe and their bridal party on the beach in order to catch the gorgeous sunset in the background.<\/p>\n

When it comes to getting married, weddings and elopements in Marco Island make a wonderful idea for any couple.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"Bride
If you are a beach lover, than Marco Island is a great place to tie the knot. I must say, the sand on the beach is something special. Anyone would be had pressed to find a beach with such soft sand. \u00a0Notice the waves in this beach shot? \u00a0You only get this effect when the sand is as fine as the sand on Marco Island. \u00a0As a Marco Island Wedding and Elopement photographer, I shoot about half of my weddings at beach locations. \u00a0I’m at the beach so often that I decided to write an article on Beach wedding photography.<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Unlike many of the beaches in Southeast Florida, the beaches on Florida\u2019s west coast are often much wider in expanse. The waters are somewhat calmer as well, as the Gulf of Mexico is not quite as \u201cwild\u201d as the Atlantic Ocean. In addition, the waters are very warm throughout most of the year, making enjoyment of the beaches in this area a true pleasure. The fabulous Marco Island Marriott is a gem in its area. Marco Island itself only has a few venues, but the Marriott stands alone in size and luxury. The hotel itself boasts several towers and incredible views of the magnificent white sand beach and Gulf of Mexico.<\/p>\n

\"Wedding
Weddings and Elopements in Marco Island vary in size. I have photographed elopements just for two, and large weddings with packed dance floors and rocking bands all on at this great beach location.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I love photographing weddings in Southwest Florida, as the scenery is somewhat different to what I am used to on Florida\u2019s east coast. It provides me with an entirely different atmosphere and it\u2019s as much a destination wedding for me as it is for the brides and grooms who choose this area for their wedding. As a South Florida wedding photographer, I love shooting weddings in all parts of the state and have recently realized that the west coast has so much to offer \u2013 in terms of venue selection, incredible beach locations and a more laid back atmosphere. Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Palm Beach have their own special vibes \u2013 as do the Florida Keys \u2013 but the west coast areas of Naples, Marco Island, Sarasota and Fort Myers are also incredibly popular choices for couples planning destination weddings here in Florida.<\/p>\n

Weddings and Elopements in Marco Island can include a simple ceremony for only two, or a larger wedding. \u00a0The flowers and decor at this wedding looked amazing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
