If you are planning a Bat or Bar Mitzvah in South Florida, I would consider one of South Beaches awesome hotels for your party. With everything that is available in the area, you and your guests certainly won't be bored. I know South Beach could be a little wild, but the hotels are incredible, the beach is wonderful, and there is a lot for the out of towners to do and see. Since your Bat or Bar Mitzvah service most likely will take place in a temple, although it could take place inside one of the hotels, the hotel and party space will get the guest attention. OK OK, I know what you are thinking, the picture is from a Bat Mitzvah service, you are writing about the party. Anyway, there are so many amazing venues in South Beach, I just love being there. Here are some of my favorites. The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach. Oh man, I love this hotel. Everything has a modern high class look, the pool is amazing, The ballrooms are big enough that you could host a Bat Mitzvah party that will be the talk of the town. Right down the road from the Ritz, is the Loews Hotel, South Beach. This is a very large, very pretty hotel that is also on the beach. The swimming pool at the Loews is great and the staff at this hotel is experienced at throwing a wild first rate party. Another fantastic venue to hold a South Beach Bat Mitzvah is The Villa - Casa Casuarina this is actually the old Versace Mansion. It's a very cool place. I have shot some amazing parties at this venue.

This picture was taken at a country club in Boca Raton, The bat mitzvah girl finished her torah reading and, with the help of her little brother the re-dressed the torah. I shot this as they were struggling to put the torah cover on.
When I started photographing Bat and Bar Mitzvahs, the ceremony (Service) always took place in a temple. However, now the service (Ceremony) often takes place in other locations.
