This engagement shot was taken by a photographer in Broward County at the Las Olas Riverfront. If you are recently engaged and looking for a beautiful place to take your engagement pictures or family portraits, then you should consider the Riverfront in Fort Lauderdale. This area is loaded with some great scenic places to take pictures. First, it sits on the New River waterway which makes for a nice background, especially when the very unique river boat comes traveling past. If you point your camera in the other direction away from the river you will find lush landscaping and some very nice park features. There is a nice gazebo and the vintage unique looking Stranahan House Museum.
I shot this photo during the holiday season which explains the lights in the trees. It was a beautiful time to be in Fort Lauderdale. Because this photo was taken at dusk, which is a great time to take pictures, because you can get the warm glow of the street lights or holiday lights to show up in the background. After the photo was captured I added a warming filter to give this photo a nicer dramatic glow.
