Biltmore Wedding Photo

Bride and Groom photo taken at The Biltmore Hotel, Coral Gables.

This bride and groom photo is from one of my favorite South Florida weddings. The wedding photography started at the Biltmore Hotel with the bride and grooms getting ready photos. After the getting ready photos I set up the first look where the bride and groom get to see each other before the wedding ceremony. After the first look I spent some time photographing the bride and groom around the Biltmore Hotels beautiful grounds.

If you are recently engaged and looking for a beautiful wedding hotel in the Miami area then you should visit the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida. The Biltmore Hotel has many awesome locations for Bride and Groom pictures. If you are looking to take indoor pictures or outside portraits, or a combination of both then the Biltmore hotel in Coral Gables will have several perfect locations for you to choose from.

In between the Granada Ballroom and the Alhambra Ballroom is a beautiful center terrace which is where this photo was taken. What makes to Biltmore hotel such a beautiful place for a luxury wedding is the fantastic architecture and the distinctive green and yellow color tones. As one of the best South Florida Wedding Photographers, I am always on the look-out for great lighting. Since the Biltmore hotel has so many beautiful covered walkways and scenic backgrounds there is no shortage for locations that provide perfect lighting. For this photo I used the soft light which flowed in from left side off the open patio. By using the soft light as a natural side light I was able to show the detail of the wedding gown.

In this photo my goal was to create a beautiful bridal portrait that shows the couples faces clearly and also shows the brides wedding gown and the detail of her train. The most time consuming part of this photo was actually the fixing and adjusting of the gown. Having photographed over 2000 weddings in my career I can pose the bride and then determine how the bridal gown should fall. For this shot I pulled her gown around toward the camera and adjust the layers so that the bride gown looked it best. I then had the groom place his hand around her waist which have her support so that she could lean back away from the groom.

When shooting a wedding always strive to create beautiful portraits for my clients while also capturing the personality of the couple. By doing this you get authentic images that show off your personalities surroundings, the unique relationship the bride and groom have as a couple. I believe that as a wedding photographer its important to produce a variety of images that range from posed to casually posted to photojournalistic and romantic. When we deliver a set of finished wedding images the client will receive a combination of color, black and white, sepia and other cool and unique image types.
